I just wanted to take the time to THANK one of staff here at the Beacon. I needed help recently (October) on a night when ... the day had gone so well, it was late, and I did not know what to do. 911 was helpful and set the motions to get me help, but my BFF said call maintenance and I did. My expectation was that my voicemail would be answered the next day, which at that time might have been well too late for the night to end well. But JOEL (last name unknown) returned my call in less than 10 minutes and was at my apartment door within 30 minutes after the call. Great Location, Great Staff!
The Beacon is in a great location! You can walk to grocery stores, a movie theater, and a bunch of restaurants. I also love ... how close we are to DC, Baltimore, and Annapolis for work and day trips! My neighbors are friendly and my apartment is spacious and well-maintained. The maintenance and office staff members are always kind and professional. You can tell they care about keeping our community nice and doing what they can to make residents happy and comfortable. I've also been pleasantly surprised by the number of activities, like free food, crafts, parties, etc. Rent is a bit pricey, but it's high everywhere right now. Overall, I'm really loving my time here and would recommend it to others looking for a quiet, safe, and convenient apartment in the area. Breakfast in the breezeway on this, the first day of Fall, was a lovely gesture and very good. Coffee, fresh big muffins, ... fruit and juice. The Beacon is a wonderful place to live, walking distance to shops and restaurants as well as a friendly staff and excellent maintenance. There should always be a waiting list for these prized units.
